The problem-solution approach

Biodiesel is a renewable fuel that can replace mineral diesel, but it has some limitations, such as a higher clogging point and higher NOx emissions.

What is it?

The invention consists of a multifunctional additive for biodiesel, based on tahiti lime oil, which improves the physical-chemical characteristics of the fuel and reduces NOx emissions.

How it works

The additive acts as a descaler, removing dirt and impurities from the injector nozzles, which reduces the risk of clogging. In addition, limonene, the main component of lemon oil, has antibacterial and antifungal properties, which helps prevent the formation of biofilm on the nozzles.
