For industry
We are the Technology Transfer Office of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Our aim is to increase the University’s socio-economic and technological impact through academic-business cooperation.
We act as a bridge between members of the university community and the business sector through the transfer of intellectual property developed at PUC-Rio. Within the innovation ecosystem, we are responsible for:
Patent filing and IP management
Technology license agreements
Promoting and disseminating the culture of innovation among members of the PUC-Rio community and partners
Our mission
We cultivate innovation by integrating PUC-Rio with the business environment. Our focus is to boost sustainable development by identifying and transferring the University’s innovations to society and the business sector, in order to increase their social, economic and environmental impact.
Technology Showcase
We have a wide range of innovative technologies available for licensing developed by the PUC-Rio community. Access our portfolio and search by area of interest.
